Bridal dress: The modern Indian bride has a variety of outfits to choose from, the best way to choose your style is by keeping in mind your wedding outfit. Girls prefer draping themselves in a sari which is mostly embroidered heavily and adorned with embellishments. Many others like to wear embellished lehnga-choli or salwar-kameez. Whether they wear sari, lehnga or salwar-kameez, women today opt for trendier materials like chiffon and lace for bridal dressing. It not only looks elegant and beautiful, it is also light-weighed and saves the overall cost. Whatever attire is chosen, Indian bride looks for the perfect combination of elegance and comfort.

Bridal makeup: Bridal makeup forms an integral part of a bride’s repertoire. An improper makeup and an inappropriate hair-do can mar the beauty and impact of the shinning jewellery and a gorgeous wedding dress. Though Indian bridal makeup is mostly preferred with red and gold hues predominating , the makeup shouldn’t be over the top and should naturally enhance the dewy radiance of the bride. Hence, it is very important to know about the right kind of bridal makeup that would suit the bride’s taste and skin tone.

Another important point while applying makeup is to know what kind of photography is being done. For example, foundations with yellow tones work best with flash photography.

Bridal Hairstyles: Hairstyle is also an integral part of bridal makeup and dressing. Before you choose a hairstyle, it is very important to know if it suits your face.
